World Cup sucks who agrees?
It exploits the people of Africa. I love sport and all but all these athletes making money and being bad influences on kids make me upset. Being an African I think the world cup is bad for South Africa. South Africa is in debt and the world cup will put them further in debt. World Cup fans are just whores to corporations. I don't hate football. It was one of the few sports around when i was a kid. I prefer basketball and karate but i don't mind football. I just hate how ultra-capitalist football has become and how it exploits people especially in the 3rd world and people in 3rd world nation end up worshiping FIFA. Its disgusting. You an idiot if you think it will give South Africa economic prowess. It will only be temporary economic prowess. FIFA is a wet dream for corporations. Many people had their homes bulldozed for the world cup. I don't hate football but i hate how some people choose football over human life. Its disgusting. I think the environmental issues and humanity is way more important than 22 men kicking a ball around. Tell those homeless from the world cup that football is beautiful. Cause its ugly. The South African world cup is not making as much money as expected their for it left South Africa in bigger debt. Tourism will only temporary boost South Africa. Im scared that South Africa will go in debt cause the world cup. They spent billions of dollars they do not have robbing many poor South Africans of a quality life. South Africa borrowed money from the IMF to help pay for the world cup. The problem is IMF does not care about about helping South Africa. IMF wants global domination. Many South Africans protested against hosting the world cup. It would ignore the problems of South Africa. I love sport i enjoying playing football. But watching professional football makes me sick. I hate the fact club football the players are running advertisements and to see coca cola ads very meter is disgusting. I rather watch football played by amateurs or played by youths.

What? by common sense, the world cup is greatly benefiting south Africa from an economical point of view.... also, it was Africa the one who requested to organize the world cup... it wasn't Europe or south America the ones who decided that.. I think you're very ungrateful, hosting an event such as a world cup is something any south American or European nation would love to do.

i agree with you. the billions of dollars spent shouldve been payed for the people of the country, cz this money wil never be retained, and i hope that south africa will not be in financial crisis like greece are, but it seems like thats what gonna happen (greece got themselves in debt to host the olympics, and now greeks have to pay enormous amounts of money in order to be able to eat and not starve)
