Engagement ring on his birthday?
We've been together 2 years, and engaged 6 months ago, I keep a raw diamond from his proposal, which he found in the diamond mine when he work in South Africa, but I know he's saving money right now to make the diamond into a ring. So here's my question, I haven't wear the engagement ring yet, but I would like to get him a engagement ring (or promise ring) on his birthday, is it appropriate? do guys like to wear ring before they get married?

I think if he loves you then he will be happy with the ring and wear it, because he will want everyone to know you're getting married. =]

i got my fiance one and he was happy. if he loves you then he is going to be happy

It's a lovely ideal the only thing do you think he would want to wear the ring when you have not got your ring made yet! Maybe you could buy it and say we will both put the rings on together, ( I just hope it would not make him unhappy or put pressure on him that your is not done yet)

no guys don't normally wear rings before they are married. save youry money for the actual wedding rather than that. just wait til you're married to get him a ring.
