Microsoft-AOL Lottery Award Promotionsâ€d ?
Ok I got this email and usually I ignore them, thinking it's all a scam. But this one sounded kinda convincing so I contacted the agent, informing him however, that i'm not comfortable giving personal information. He had no problem with that and was wanting me to come in person to collect the money in South africa. I told him that wasn't possible so he gave me the email for a claims agent of whom i've been speaking with. I asked if the money could be wired to my paypal account (much safer) and he said yes. But, the afidavit for the claim, since I couldn't come, was $850.00 USD and if I payed just half of that $400.00 USD then he'd cover the other half and I'd get my money within 48 hours. Now, I may have a way to send him this $400.00 but after reading about all these scams, i'm not sure if I should really do it or not. The guy called me once, and was asking if I read his email yet and because I hadn't (big time difference, I was just waking up) he said "ok go read the email and reply ok?" and that was basically the phone call. At some points, it seems real, the guy gave me his address (claims agent). But when I looked up the address of the drawing, it's like... some old neighborhood and the buildings don't look exactly like "microsoft material". The one building it focused on was 19 craven street and I couldn't find 20. But the one right next to 19 (using street view) is a hotel. and across the street it looks like houses. so... I'm feelin a little iffy right now on the case. I just emailed the guy to tell him I may be able to send the money and I even asked him if it was a for real thing, but I know once he replies he'll probably say yes and could still be lying. Someone please help Oh and as another note, I kinda categorized this wrong. This email wasn't through Yahoo, it was through Gmail, which is really weird since gmail has a really strong spam filter. It's the only spam that's managed to get through up till now.

Oh come on. This is such an obvious fraud I am surprised you let them have any information at all. Has anyone ever heard of anyone actually getting the money!!!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do not enter into any further correspondence with the crooks and contact your local police service immediately. The latter can refer you to experts at dealing with these criminals and possibly offer some protection if needed.

Scam!!!!! That message is both a fake and an outright fraud. Don't contact the phishers and give them any of your personal information at all. Spam that scam message straight into oblivion right away. This is one lottery you'll never win because it's "bogus." Another thing, the phishers telling you to "keep this lottery information confidential" would indicate to you not to say anything about this to anybody until they have finished scamming you.

One, how can you win something you did not enter?!? Two, no one, and I do mean NO ONE, makes you pay any money at all, no fees, for a legitimate contest or lottery. Now, I guess you figured it out? Microsoft and Aol do not have lotteries or reward contests. It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money. Do not respond to it. Report it to yahoo, so they are aware. Everyone has a breaking point right?
im 15 and i feel like im at my breaking point! Everyone knows me as the nice girl that will do anything for anybody. I love helping people out nd i have a great heart but i just feel so stressed and taken advantage of. I have to go to school, and keep my grades up. To me, those are my top priorities right now. But, its hard when my parents expect me to babysit all the time. I feel so overworked. And, when i get out of college, i want to move to South Africa and help out the poor families there and then come back to America and be a pediatrician. But, my mom doesnt even have a college savings account for me. Im not mad at her for that but now that im 15, i have realized that i really need to start saving money for my future. But, whenever i make money my mom asks for some and i give it to her. I would feel bad if i didnt because she is a working woman and has bills to pay and it would bother me mentally knowing that i have money saved for myelf know that my mom was in need of some. Lets just put it like this, with the money that i have gotten from babysitting and other little jobs, i would have probably close to 600 dollars. And in the long run, its going to hurt me when i get out of high school and cant fufill my life dreams because of lack of money. I have to go to school, maintain good grdes, stay healthy, work, babysit my siblings, keep up on my chores, and continue to be the nice, loving, caring, whitney i just really hard for me! It just makes me want to break down and cry but i cant because i feel like i have to stay strong. I just wish there was someone i could pour out all of my feelings to, but i jut cant! Im sorry this is so long, but if you have any suggestions for me, then please tell me! And, i have another question, im not in any sports or anything in school. So, i k now i cant get a sport or activity scholorship. But, i get all A's, do they give out scholorships for good grades?

apply for finaicial aid and atleast be apart of a couple clubs when in highschool. and yes you can get scholorships even if youre not in sports.

As a Psychologist I can tell you that your grades are good enough for you to qualify for a scholarship. If you really want to be a Dr. then go for it. I went into the Army to pay for my education because I really wanted to help people and today I'm doing it. Please don't expect your Mother to do something she cannot, if you want this bad enough you will do it. I wish you the best. Peace, Love & Happiness

Willem Ratte’s 3rd Declaration from Jail. South Africa is supposed to be a signatory to international conventions governing non violent protest. None of its rules have been followed. One week ago, I handed in a statement to court that I have stopped eating since 1 October 2010 in protest at the unlawfull handling off into detention of the five youngsters among us. On Wednesday last, the high court saw fit to condone the trampling on people’s rights, the storming into houses without warrant, the stealing of money, watches and whithout giving receipts, and the hauling of people off into detention without properly arresting them, typical of the OH-SO-DEMOCRATIC and OH-SO-FULL-OF HUMAN-RIGHTS. So called new South Africa’s hypocracy, falseness and injustice. Therefore I will now continue my hunger strike, until the state persecutor, whose forces hauled me off into detention on fabricated spurious charges, until he drops these charges, or the court throws them out. I also want all my confiscated property returned. I am sick and tired of the hypocrisy , falseness and injustice of the new South Africa. I am sick and tired of arrogant police black and white, trampling on decent people’s rights, stealing and taking anything they fancy without acknowledgement. I am sick and tired of a lying white informer scum like MIKE HOUGH. I am sick and tired of armed police who should be protecting the public against real threats, forcing us into police cells to be robbed instead. I am sick and tired of being inside a police cell while a youngster I being raped because the police don’t care and are too busy smuggling drugs and making money from the gangsters in charge anyway. I am sick and tired of being read my so-called rights by a smug policeman, while everyone knows it is just a farce.
