Making Money Online in S.A?
Are there any legitimate ways to make money online in South Africa??? I've tried a few but they all want you to pay them or they find an excuse not to pay you. Come on guys, most of these are affiliate marketing or scams you have to pay for. I need a proper way to earn a living!!

If you can work in an office then you can work from home. But if you work from someone they might not want you to work from home. So.. work for yourself! Be a freelancer. $1000 or more a week can be earned quick-ly an easily if you can produre software or if you can write good articles for webmasters.

I used to hire/fire a lot of IT staff in my last position. there can be a lot of money in there, but you've got to work up to it, you won't get it overnight. A few years ago in the UK, there was a boom in the UK with people left, right and centre doing the MCSE courses to become microsoft certified professionals. We hired a few, gave them a chance and then got shot of them as they don't have the experience to back it up. Every fix they did was straight from a manual and didn't always work. Before anyone starts whinging about giving them a chance, they were in the contract market and as such were there to fill a whle temporarily, which they couldn't do, I'm sure with training they would have been alright. Personally, I always take people on who have worked their way up to top ranks as they have put the time and effort in and deserve their chance a lot more than someone who has heard that you can make money in IT and has jumped ship, got an MSCE and thinks they know everything there is to know about IT. Start at the bottom and work your way up and you can make some serious money. Oracle at the moment is big bucks, networking, security...

I am sorry but from the old school 20+ years ago, I started in IT like the other guy. I am just astounded at the calibre of IT staff. I have met many more who started off at the bottom and grafted up the ladder. It's actaully wake uptime. No matter what you come into the IT business world with amounts to very little. All it's done is cloud make you think you can earn wads from day one. Forget it, programming you can eran a lot if you come up with the ideads for yourself, networkings is a good source of income. Put programming, networking and database development in one your starting to earn the biggies. Companies need all rounders not a highly tuned C# when they need someobne to get their hands dirty. There's nothing wrong with being an excellent C# programmer. However the drawback is that's what you'll be and as a manager and director where the bigger money is you need to know the whole field not just a small part of it.

I need money sponsor in South Africa to start up my business as an upholst & bag designr in Knysna. 14yrs exp.
I have a certificate in Upholstery and have been working at leading interior decorators and soft furnishing factories in Oudtshoorn and Knysna for the past 14 years. I started my own business on a part time basis 4 mnths ago. I design and manufacture ladies handbags, travel bags and purses and makes use of ostrich leather, Springbok and Impala skins, suede, and hide. I mostly use african designs on my creations. My business' name is U & B Dreamworks. It refers to my versatile services as an Upholsterer, motortrimmer, and Bag designer. My upholstery includes new, modern and antique furniture. I cover chairs, carseats, couches and ottomans etc. It has been my utmost desire to start my own business for years now, but unfortunately I lack the necessary machinery and of course finances to do this on my own. One bag machine costs +- R30 000. I also cannot keep up with my bag orders (they are in huge demand in Hong Kong and African countries) as the material are expensive. Please help!

I say run! Life is short. Explore new areas of the world. What do you got to lose??? South Africa sounds like it has nothing to offer.
2 :
I think you should run. SA has been going down hill for quite sometime. Maybe you should leave the continent altogether, and go to Europe or North America.
3 :
RUN AWAY!

Another lazy oxygen thief trying to get someone else to do their work for them... GrayBlack....jeeez, did you actually go to school...EVER?!!! Oppie Koffie????? Hilarious! Padme, you'll get better info in the Mongolia section, I think....
4 :
It's old enough to know better. Our events are overhyped, yet not really famous. The kind of government that lies through it's teeth. (Probably the same as yours) There are some good-looking females around. Working for a paycheque is a common method, though some people sell stuff (refrigerators, bubblegum, gold stocks, etc.) GrayBlack - Young man, like Padme you have stumbled into the wrong place. However, if you would look up the medical section, there may just be a "Lets hope for a brain replacement procedure" section. I think you it will suit you better.

padme u are lost, very lost.your monitor will reflect this.

geeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhh, the guys who answered before me are idiots!!!! ill help you, as much as possible. regarding history: here are some facts that you can google There were settlers here back....way back....they were called the San, khoi khoi, Hottentots...etc. Jan van riebeck landed in the cape and made it a trading station for ships the settlers were used as slaves There was a boer war --- a war between the Dutch, british and the Zulus Now regarding age of South Africa ---- i think google that. perhaps the question you need a answer for is when did South Africa gain its independence from colonialism.. regarding famous events (im confused with this---are you referring to famous places? or famous celebrations?...well the following relates to famous attractions, famous events and places, google the following: H2o, Table mountain, Robben island, Oppie Coffee, sun city, Gold reef city, Kruger national park. Perhaps for your history lesson, google "big hole in kimberley", "Johannesburg - the place of gold" Type of government... South africa is a democratic country ruled by a political party chosen by the people every 4 or so years. a political party is a group of individuals organised in a hierarchy type setup where decisions are made by collaboration. Political party strength is determined by how many parliament seats they have, which is determined by the percentage of votes they received. so ANC is the ruling party, and have majority parliament seats, because they had majority votes. Regarding how money is made...this baffles me!! South africans work for a living too you know. its not like we stuck in prehistoric times and grow tamotoes and trade for potatoes. We too have corporate structure! just like any other country. I think its cool that you have interest in South Africa. this does seem like a homework assignment, but atleast you can learn. oh yes, one last thing, South Africa is a multi-cultural country. We have indians (from india), Whites (two types --- decendants of the british, and decendents of the dutch), Coloureds (What Mariah Carey is), blacks (decendents of various tribes and settlers -- Zulu's, Xhosa's, etc).....And there are 11 official languages...English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosi, Sepedi, Tswana just to mention a few. i hope this helps... keep well... GreyBlack
